Thinking of you on Thursday!

Good Morning my friends! I hope you're all having an excellent week! 😎 No Zoom today, but still lots of other things to do! Of course, you'll want to finish your work early so you can go do fun things later! 20 minutes of Math, 20 minutes of Writing and 20 minutes of Reading to your adult and just like that, you'll be DONE! Let's get at it!! 👍😊

MATH
Continue working on Multiplication and Division Families. Remember that they are COUSINS - they do opposite things, but you can use the same numbers in one 'family' to make both kinds of questions.

In your notebook, try doing the 2 division sentences for each multiplication sentence shown. Look and see what 3 numbers are in the 'family' and ALWAYS START WITH the BIGGEST NUMBER WHEN YOU DIVIDE!

example: FAMILY NUMBERS -  4    3   12 start with the biggest                                                                                                  number when you do division.

When you are finished, check your answers below 👇

WRITING

Job #1 - finish your 'GOOD COPY' of your letter to Mr. Lloyd and make sure you send it to me to print off.

Job #2 - begin your Word Work for next week's Zoom. This time you are on the hunt for HOMOPHONES.

These are words that sound the same, but they are spelled different ways and they mean different things.

Find 10-15 pairs of homophones by next Tuesday's Zoom and we will make a big list together.

⭐⭐⭐ YOU only have to write the pairs of homophones, NOT sentences!

Examples:
blue and blew (The blue kite blew in the wind.)

witch and which (Which direction did the witch fly?)

here and hear (I can't hear you singing from over here.)
