MATH

Division is our Math again for today. I hope you are feeling more confident about how multiplication X and division  ÷ work together.

Please practice by doing these FACT FAMILIES in your notebook, like this:

Example:    If your family of numbers is   4 ,  2 ,  8
                                     
                                      4 x 2 = 8
                                      2 x 4 = 8
                                      8 ÷ 4 = 2

                                      8 ÷ 2 = 4

WRITING and WORD WORK

Yesterday you were asked to do Job #1 for your Word Work / Writing assignment for this week. If you have not yet done it, please start with that today. Then you can move on to Job #2.

Job #2 : You should have your list of 20 plural words from Monday. Today you will take those words and start writing some sentences using them. This is your CHALLENGE:

You need to use your plural words in sentences, but you CAN use more than one plural word in a sentence! If you only use one plural word in each, you will have to write 20 sentences. BUT... if you can think of some sentences that use 2 or 3 or 4 or more of your plurals in one sentence, you won't have to write so many! Your sentences can be silly and do NOT have to be true. 

Just  write sentences with 10 of your words today. The other half will be tomorrow.

Reading this week will continue to be 20+ minutes each day, out loud to your adult and as much READ to SELF as you like! The in-class students on Thursdays and Fridays are LOVING the Epic Books site, so I hope you are too!
