First Day of May Friday

               Happy May 1st!
I hope you're all having a
-UTIFUL day!
(Get it? 😉)

Thank you to those of you who have already written your letter to me! I love hearing from you and I promise to write back EVERY TIME you write to me!

It's Friday again already, so it's a good day to finish up some things before the weekend.

If you still need to write your e-mail or letter to me, that's job #1.

Working on your Telling Time pages is our focus this week so that's job #2.

Reading out loud to an Adult for at least 15-20 minutes is for EVERYDAY so that's job #3.  And remember... choose GOOD FIT BOOKS - not too easy, not too hard!

                  **WEEKEND WORD WORK **

Because it's the weekend, I'm sending out another Word Hunt challenge. We'll check in at our Tuesday Zoom and see what you were able to collect. Your words this week are ture words (sounds like 'cher', like picture ).

                          Learn Something New
😊Maybe today (or tomorrow or Sunday) would be a good day to learn a new skill.

Choose one thing (or a FEW) from this list and see if an adult or an older brother or sister can teach you how to do something new.

✅Sew a button onto a piece of fabric
✅Make scrambled eggs
✅Do a load of laundry (*separate colours and whites!)
✅Wash and dry the dishes by hand
✅Vacuum a room
✅Put air in a bike tire
✅Clean the bathroom (sink, tub and floor)
✅Plant some flowers or vegetable seeds
✅Change a lightbulb
✅Hammer a nail into a board (don't hammer your          thumb!)
