FRIDAY FINISH and FIND!

Another week comes to an end and next week it will be June already! I sure miss all of you and wish it was a 'normal' school year, but we'll keep doing what we need to do to stay safe. Starting next week, our Zoom schedule will change a bit. We won't have a Thursday morning Zoom anymore, but I am going to do a Zoom every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until the end of the school year. Here is the new schedule starting on Monday, June 1st:

 Monday Zoom - 10:00-10:45
Tuesday Zoom - 10:00-10:45
Wednesday Zoom - 1:30-2:15

#3             WEEKEND WORD WORK

For Tuesday's Zoom, your job is to find 20 COMPOUND WORDS.  These are words that are made from 2 words that are joined to make a new word.

example:   foot + ball = football

                  fire + place = fireplace

                  some + thing = something

IMPORTANT : Each of the two parts must be a separate word by itself if you take the compound word apart.

A word like happiness is NOT a compound word because happi and ness  are NOT separate words by themselves.

Be a superstar jellybean searcher and everything will somehow become as fireproof as a rainbow in a thunderstorm!
( I guess my sentence is a bit of a silly nutcracker, but if you eat cheesecake it will seem more like a bluebird in a rainstorm! 😏😉) LOL
