TOONIE LOONIE QUARTER DIME NICKEL PENNY
I hope you all had an awesome weekend and are ready to do some MONEY work for Math. Keep going on the MONEY pages in your Math duotang and try to do enough each day that you'll be finished by Friday.
Something important to remember is:
When counting money you should always start with the coin(s) that are worth the most . It's much easier to start with 25 cents (quarter) and add smaller coin amounts, than to start with 5 cents (nickel) and try to add bigger coin amounts to it.
Click and watch this little video to see how this is true.

READING for the WEEK
Remember to read a GOOD FIT BOOK to your adult for 15-20 minutes each day... even if you feel like you're a already great reader.
😊😊😊
It's so nice to just spend some time showing them how well you're doing AND it helps you become more expressive and smooth with your reading.
Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles, even older siblings... you can ALL be listeners to help your younger family members grow their reading skills!

Search Results
There are tons of awesome articles here that BOTH kids and adults will enjoy. ** If the Grade 3-5 level articles are too challenging for your child right now, that's okay! Just click on the Grade 1-2 articles instead, or do 'shared reading' with your child.
ALSO... feel free to explore by clicking on Weeks 1,2,3 or 4! There are little videos connected with the articles as well. I think you'll ALL really like this website!
